Life First™
Find the right hearing aids for your life.
HearingBrands helps you compare hearing aids, pricing, programming, and care options clearly, so you can choose with confidence before you buy.
Clear guidance. Honest pricing. Care after purchase.
Why It Gets Murky
One quote can hide six different decisions.
A hearing aid price often combines the device, technology level, programming, care, follow-up support, and total cost. When those pieces are bundled together, it is hard to know what is necessary, what is fair, and what actually fits your life.
HearingBrands helps separate the pieces before you choose.
Life First™
The right hearing aid is the one that works in your real life.
Hearing aids are not chosen in a vacuum. Restaurants, family dinners, phone calls, meetings, church, travel, quiet evenings, and daily routines all place different demands on hearing technology. HearingBrands looks at the life you want to hear more fully, then matches the device, programming, support, and care path around that.
Before we talk brands, we look at what matters.
Your listening world
Restaurants, family, work, worship, travel, television, and daily conversation.
Your hearing profile
Test results, speech clarity, background noise, tinnitus, and prior hearing aid experience.
Your technology comfort
Bluetooth, rechargeable options, app use, visibility, dexterity, and simplicity.
Your budget and care preferences
What you want included, what support matters, and what level of service fits.
Your best-fit path
The brand, technology level, programming, and care model that make the most sense together.
Life First is how we keep the recommendation connected to the person wearing the hearing aids.
Why HearingBrands
A better way to choose hearing aids.
Most hearing aid decisions force you to compare devices, prices, care packages, insurance benefits, and provider recommendations all at once. HearingBrands helps organize the decision around what actually matters: your hearing needs, your lifestyle, your budget, and the kind of care you want after purchase.
Start with a clearer picture before you choose a device.
The HearingBrands Advantage
We make the decision understandable
You should not have to decode technology levels, bundled pricing, insurance language, and care packages on your own. We separate the pieces so you can see what you are actually choosing.
We match around real life
Restaurants, family conversations, work, church, television, phone calls, travel, and quiet moments all matter. Your recommendation should reflect where better hearing needs to show up.
We compare options without pushing one brand
Different hearing aids have different strengths. The goal is not to make one manufacturer look better than another. The goal is to find the right fit for your hearing profile, comfort level, budget, and care needs.
We prepare you for what happens after purchase
The first decision is only part of the experience. Programming, adjustments, app setup, Bluetooth, follow-up questions, and long-term confidence all matter.
We help you move forward without pressure
You stay in control. We give you a clearer path, honest tradeoffs, and practical guidance so you can choose with confidence.
Lifestyle Match™
A hearing test tells us how you hear. Lifestyle Match™ helps reveal how you live.
An audiogram is important. It can show the type, degree, and pattern of your hearing loss. It can help guide programming, receiver strength, device style, and whether one or two hearing aids may be appropriate. But the hearing test alone does not decide which brand, technology level, care model, or support path will fit your daily life.
That is where Lifestyle Match comes in. We look beyond the hearing test to understand where better hearing needs to show up: restaurants, family conversations, phone calls, work, church, travel, television, quiet rooms, and noisy spaces.
What the test shows. What the match completes.
Your hearing test can help reveal
- Type and degree of hearing loss
- Frequencies that need more amplification
- Whether one or both ears may need help
- Possible receiver strength or power range
- Device style considerations
- Programming starting point
Lifestyle Match™ helps determine
- Best-fit brand direction
- Appropriate technology level
- Everyday listening demands
- Bluetooth and app comfort
- Visibility and dexterity preferences
- Budget and care model fit
- Support needs after purchase
Together, they point toward a recommendation that fits both your hearing profile and your real life.
Hearing Aid Options
Compare the styles HearingBrands can help you choose from.
Hearing aids are not chosen by brand alone. The right starting point is the style that fits your hearing needs, comfort, dexterity, daily environments, and care path. HearingBrands helps narrow the options to styles and brands we can actually provide and support.
Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)
The most common modern prescription hearing aid style. A small device sits behind the ear, with the speaker placed in the ear canal. RIC devices are often a strong fit for people who want a balance of sound quality, comfort, Bluetooth options, rechargeability, and fitting flexibility.
Behind-the-Ear (BTE)
A durable style where the main device sits behind the ear and sends sound through tubing or a receiver path. BTE devices are often used when more power, easier handling, or daily reliability matter more than having the smallest possible device.
Instant-Fit In-Ear
A ready-fit in-ear option for select candidates who want a more earbud-like style without a custom mold. This style is not appropriate for every hearing loss or every ear. It depends on hearing profile, ear fit, comfort, and lifestyle needs.
Available style paths by brand
| Style | Phonak | Oticon | Signia | Starkey | ReSound | Widex | Unitron |

*Most prescription hearing aid manufacturers also make custom molded hearing aids. Those devices must be physically fit by a local licensed hearing instrument specialist or audiologist and are not available for purchase and fitting through HearingBrands.
Not sure which style fits? Lifestyle Match™ helps narrow the path before you choose.

Transparency
Clear choices. Honest tradeoffs. No mystery pricing.
We believe you deserve to understand exactly what you're considering: what's included, what's not, and what the real tradeoffs are. No pressure-based selling. Just clarity.
What's included
Every recommendation comes with a clear breakdown: device cost, programming, fitting support, and care. Itemized, not bundled into an opaque package.
What's not included
We tell you honestly what falls outside our scope, so there are no surprises later. If you need something we don't provide, we'll point you in the right direction.
Real tradeoffs
Every hearing aid involves choices. More features may cost more. A smaller device may mean shorter battery life. We help you weigh what matters.
Plain language
No jargon. No confusing technology tiers. No marketing spin. Just straightforward explanations that help you make a confident decision.
No pressure
We don't work on commission from manufacturers. Our recommendations are driven by what fits your life, not by what earns us the highest margin.
You stay in control
Take your time. Compare options. Ask questions. The decision is always yours. We're here to guide, not to push.
